04 Data Retention Framework

Active Accounts

Retained for the full duration of account activity

Deleted Accounts

Retained in backup archives for up to 12 months

Messages & Metadata

Retained during account life + 12 months post-deletion

ID Documents

Deleted after successful verification unless legally required

Data may be retained beyond standard periods where necessary for legal claims, fraud investigations, or regulatory compliance.
